my story.

i was raised in a small, californian mountain town called crowley lake. i am proud of that. i have a bachelor's degree in communication studies from westmont college & a concentration in studio art. i have the most incredible family who has loved, supported & encouraged me my entire life. i once avoided art. and anything having to do with creating it. looking back, i think i was afraid of it. or perhaps in some state of denial. i was going to be a doctor. ha. what an ironic turn of events. now i realize, i was born to create art. purposed to be inspired & to inspire. to appreciate life & beauty in a unique & intentional way. my camera has since allowed me to fully & openly embrace my identity as an artist and has opened my eyes, heart and mind to a world of possibilities. i love how art & photography allows me to be me. i get to share my passion, my musings, my ideas, heart, thoughts, appreciations, my voice & my life with you. what a pleasure & joy that is. and not only that, but i get to live life with you, share in your moments, feel & experience with you & tell your story. wow. such an honor i tell you. thanks for reading about me & my story. i hope that i can be part of yours...
